Brilliant Things—For A Joyful Life

I recently read a commentary by Alexandra Thompson, Assistant News Editor in London, for New Scientist Magazine—6 September 2025. I share it with you because as we move through our somewhat chaotic world, it’s easy to truly experience the not-so-little things that make up part of the wonder in our life.
“The one-person show, “Every Brilliant Thing” at Soho Palace in London tells the story of a boy moving from childhood to adulthood, alongside his mother’s struggles with depression.
He decides to remind her—and the audience—of brilliant things life has to offer—the scent of freshly cut grass, the taste of crispy duck with sticky plum sauce, and the joy of receiving a gift you always wanted but didn’t ask for.”
Just a simple thought for your busy day.
Enjoy your journey! Make a difference!
Namaste,
