The international, independent, prestigious MICHELIN guide, with its 125-year tradition of famous stars, has for the first time awarded a new distinction for hotels in the Czech Republic: the MICHELIN Key. Chateau Mcely has been awarded one MICHELIN Key following a detailed evaluation process and has thus been listed among the crème de la crème, exceptional hotels of the world.
These accolades celebrate hotels that meet five universal criteria: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the guest experience in their setting. One MICHELIN Key signifies a true gem with its own character and personality. The hotel consistently provides something extra with its service, offering significantly more than properties in a similar price range.
Among other things, the MICHELIN Guide says: „Of course, European nobility in the Baroque period weren’t about to retreat to the countryside in anything less than princely accommodations, so the “lodge” is decidedly palatial.
